Hi, I'm Julia, a product designer based in Abuja.
I design interfaces that make using software feel easy and intuitive. I work across mobile and enterprise software (B2B and B2C), helping people perform tasks smoothly while supporting real business goals.
I’ve worked with startups and as a freelancer, leading projects like redesigning an accounting software and building a group order feature at Heroshe. I’ve also mentored interns and shared design tips through classes and workshops. I enjoy helping others grow in their design journey.
I got into product design by chance, but stayed because I love solving problems that make people’s lives easier. My process is thoughtful and collaborative. I take time to understand use cases, explore edge cases, and work closely with cross-functional teams to land clear, practical solutions.
When I’m not designing, I’m taking care of my plant, going to the gym, enjoying skincare routines, or relaxing with music and a good movie.
My love for design transcends digital products. I’ve recently developed an interest in Interior design and working on honing that skill.

I sometimes don’t know how to describe myself, and so I’ve put together some questions and answers to show and tell you how cool my personality type is.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I think my go-to response to this question is that I’d love to be able to teleport. That way, I can go anywhere in the world. I’d also like to be able to read minds. I did watch a movie where that superpower can be overwhelming, especially being able to listen to the thoughts of multiple people at the same time.
What am I currently learning?
There are some things on my list this year. Like learning to swim, drive, picking up a new hobby (I’m stuck between crocheting or rug tufting), and a new sport (preferably badminton or long tennis)
There are a number of things that make me happy. I love singing, sometimes doing karaoke, as well as dancing. I’d love to learn Salsa, Kizomba and Bachata in the future. I love being in a body of water, even though I can’t swim yet. I love watching people do adrenaline pumping activities, like screaming on a roller coaster ride. I also love any activity that feels adventurous, as long as i can be motivated to leave my house to try them. Not to sound cliche, but designing also make me happy.
<aside> 💡 Here’s a quick fun fact about me that not many people know: I studied to be a veterinary doctor and graduated in early 2024.

I wouldn’t say that I transitioned to design from medicine; I’ve always been involved in tech and ended up falling in love with design while simultaneously handling medical school. Yes, I’m amazing for that 🤭
